Default Bloody Moon (1981)

Any fans of this film? I watched it awhile back and really liked how goofy it was, and was wanting to order a physical copy, but Amazon and other retailers don't seem to have it in stock. There aren't even any on eBay. I found that Severin's website still has it for sale, so I'm ordering there, but I am wondering if it may be going out of print soon. It appears to be a pretty bare-bones release and didn't get great marks from the reviewers here, but I was surprised to see one copy available from an independent Amazon seller for a whopping $55.00.

A fun Franco film for sure. The scene depicted on the cover is a classic but it sucks that they only had bad quality SD inserts for the most graphic part.

Big fan of this one. I enjoy the soundtrack, it's a real treat. Deaths a grisly and mean spirited. Has a decent sense of mystery. One of my favorite Jess Franco movies next to Vampyros Lesbos.

I think Severing generally does stock sales for titles going OOP, it's probably just between pressings so people freak out..

Also, I loved it when I watched it...

You may be right. I do remember Severin announcing in 2015 that their Manson Family disc was going out of print over disputes with the filmmaker, but it was still available on their site and other retailers until rather recently.

Speaking of the SD inserts of the gore—were the original film elements of this lost, or have they since been recovered? They do very much stick out against the rest of the film.
