There's something wrong with this guy..

As we know

Shipping price,including administration and packaging costs
€ 4,50 incl. administration and packaging costs for 1 pcs .
To Germany, Austria, Spain, England, Portugal, France.

And then I received the quote for 2 pieces

2 piece is mailpost, which is € 9.50

So I thought, shipping them separately will be only 9€

Then the guy flips:

1 or 2 do not matter to Portugal is it € 9.50.
I offer the blu-ray for a low price. The blu-ray is well packaged in cardboard, what do you want more.you pay what I pay and nothing more. Furthermore ....I would not debate it.

That's the service we receive..

Including packaging (cardboard box) is the weight around 300 gr
I should send it in a sturdy box to prevent damage.

Price from 250 to 500 g. = EUR 10.45 to sending usa

That is the email I got back this morning. I asked him about 2. So for two to the U.S it seems good. Expensive but good.

How so?

Well simply put: you can choose English Audio but there is no way (on a standalone player that is) to remove the French subtitles that appear on screen.

Be sure to order 1, instead of 2.. as 2 is more expensive. Or you can make 2 orders separately (separate shipment).

Yeah that's right, it seems that combine shipping for 2 is more expensive than ordering separately!

That just doesn't make any sense at all. Surely a slightly bigger cardboard box to hold 2 steelbooks is cheaper than two smaller cardboard boxes. Then there is more work packaging two steelbooks in two separate boxes as opposed to one. If it is 4.5 Euros to ship one steelbook, I would have thought 7-8 Euros to ship two steelbooks would have been more reasonable. The more expensive shipping costs for two also discourages people to order more than one piece. This doesn't sound like good business sense to me at all, scratch head.

That's what I'm trying to explain to this Bert.

At first I ordered 2 and then I notice the numbers and felt very odd, so I contacted him try to understand but well this is too difficult for him to understand.

This is not a company, this is a one man show (or a few people). They screwed up really bad at first, bad packing making the steel arrive deforming.

And you can look at my previous post and you will see this is not the professional way how you answer a customer.

I have a business and have something else to do than this sort of mail to answer

I ended up saying: so cancel my order of 2, then I will make 2 new orders!


Well, this is not the end of the world.. my Netherland supplier can get me any title in smooth (ex: Clone Wars, TDK Steelbook, etc). I don't have to deal with this kind of situation. If is not because Bert is doing a pre-order promotion...

I would say maybe as I have seen the Amazon's in europe share inventory thats listed on sister sites

This gets confusing, they all use the same Steelbook picture and NL and France sell it as a Steelbook and not a TIN from UK.

If they're all Steelbook UK and NL might be identical, unless France doesn't mind an english only cover.
