Default I just got me a Z4 =]

Hey folks I'm so happy and yet sad. I just got me a 2003 bmw z4. The sad news no blus for me for a while. I'll post my pixs soon and I will probably have to change my bd.com name into something else.

Judging by your screenname, you are a 350z fan. Does this mean that you own or owned a 350z but no longer do?! I'm a HUGE Z fan and probably going to sell my 06 TL to get a 370.

At any rate, congrats on the purchase. It's hard to go wrong with Bimmers. All owners I know love theirs.

What color combo did you get?

so far im having fun driving it, but its such a gas killer hahaha. I was a fan of the 350z but decided to get a Z4. It's a big upgrade from a beat up salvaged civic. I wanted the coupe but not a very california car. I havent had time to take pics of it but yes very soon.

Mine is the grey one, the car parked right next to me at work.

my foot is in the the pix

took it wiht my iphone

Any particular reason you chose this over say, an S2k?

I used to drive a perfect California car, 1979 450SL.

Well if you can afford a M3, you can afford to get it fixed.

Not really when many can be had for well under 20 grand used. Bmw techs make as much as most doctors, in fact with the horrble state of health care i would rather be a bmw tech imo, it's a better profession these days.

My dream car in high school was s2k but seeing how common they are now it was just a turn off, my brother also bought one. Samethj g with the 350z, they became common.

I have warranty till June 30, 2009. My sister's friend is hooking me up with a discounted or even free maintainance since he is a bmw tech. It's worth it even needing to drive across the bay bridge and driving to San francisco.

One thing I love about BMW owners is their dedication to the brand. You don't find that in too many other makes. Rock on, man! I hope you love the new ride.

I can't tell on the pics but are the sides of the car have a flat suface? Thought the cars had sharp curves.

Hope you know what I mean. Didn't know how to say it.

You mean the body? It does have some curves and stuff but like some of the lines on the car are sort of sharp.

Haha. How would you not know what your car looks like, if you just spent 40k+ on it?

Looks nice, even though I'm not a big BMW fan (I actually kind of hate them), but I'm looking forward to some more pictures.

I like the 370, though it reminds me a lot of a Porsche (which is fine, because I like Porsches). After driving a 280zx in high school, and still having a 300zx, I was hoping they'd offer a nostalgic-model of the 350z with the t-tops, but it never happened. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think the 370 certainly looks better than the 350 (though the Nismo 350 was pretty -worthy).

This is gonna trip you out...my first car (when I was 16, also in high school) was a 1981 280ZX! I also had a 300ZX as a second/fun car that I had to sell last year for our home refinance. Crazy.

I am really hoping to sell my TL in the next few months here and buy a 370. I loved the 350, but I absolutely love the 370.
