Default Irksome psychologists in films...

Can you think of any movies that are negatively effected by the presence of a psychologist (or someone who tries to explain what's wrong with the lead character)? I want to avoid them!

Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is a nearly perfect movie until the 2nd to last scene, which goes on for too long.

Herk Harvey's Carnival of Souls, a movie I also really like, throws in a useless psychologist in the last quarter.

And Jacques Tourneur's Cat People is another culprit.

Klute. I find the psych scenes to be pretentious and tedious.

Not movies but Batman stories further the stereotype that psychologists are paid sociopaths who thrill in torturing their patients.
