Talking mbader21's HT Thread

Here is my dedicated HT room, it has been a work in progress for the past 4 months and on a limited budget...

Samsung 67A750 LED DLP
Onkyo 606
80 gb Sony PS3
Nintendo Wii, 64, SNES
2 Polk T90e's
2 Polk PSW10's
Polk CS1
Onkyo Surrounds
Cyron LED Backlighting

Any feedback is appreciated, as it will never be 100% done

Excellent job, and I love the equipment... Got to say I am jealous that you'll be adding that projector and screen. I surely wish I could do that. Have you thought about what kind projector to go with? That room should serve you well once you get it. By the way, very nice cable and speaker wire management!

Man, you have a beautiful setup. Beyond the technology, I love the look of the room. Poster are great, love the MJ as well.

My only critique would be your Tecmo... Bills???!!! Dude, you gotta run Bo in that game! Run Bo right, run Bo left, run, run, run!!!

Being from upstate NY, I don't think you can beat the QB Bills/Thurman/Bebee connection on Super Tecmo .. Plus Bo wasn't around for the snes version

I've only glanced at the FP threads on here, I really don't know much about them. I don't want to start looking, because then that will give me the itch to buy and new countertops is on the list ahead of the projector!

As for the wire management, the bookshelves behind my tv came in handy for all of the front stage wiring, everything is hidden behind the curtains/tv stand. As for the surrounds, I ran the wires from the front through the baseboard mouldings and to the speakers so they are barely visible

I figured you must have done something like that with the speaker wires. Nonethesless, it was still a good job in doing so. I did see the room you had behind the TV stand and knew it would come in handy for your cable management. Again, I really like the room, good job!

Ah, my bad. Now that I think of it, Bo was in that first version with only 4 offensive plays; 2 for Bo and 2 for Marcus. As I recall, your Bruce Smith in that game was the Bo Jackson equivalent on the other side as well! Ah, good times...

Nice, it'll be easy to upgrade that room to a projector someday.

Nice home theater! That room must sound awesome being that it is square and a decent size for those speakers. Gotta love the classics!

Can you print the manual online yet? Not a bad idea to do while you wait....

Congratulations on All the New Additions to your System. And A Big Congratulations on the Pick-Up of the New Panasonic Projector.

That is an Amazing upgrade to your system. And add into that a 120 inch Motorized Screen and Your system Will Never Look Back Again.

I know the time waiting for it to arrive can seem as if it lasts forever. But once you Play that First Blu-Ray you will Never remember the time you had to wait again.

Once Again,I Have to say Congratulations. You have made an Awesome System into an Even Greater One.
