MA finally accepted my code and shows as 4K but when I go to play it, it says 4K not supported at this time. All my other 4K movies play just fine.What a screw up this has been digitally. Hope they sort this out soon.

Got mine today, perfect condition aside from a dam spine slash. Also the MA redemption seems wonky & isn’t showing up for download in iTunes as they usually do.

It's like a crap shoot lately with Best Buy Steelbooks and these bubble mailers.

Mine arrived today not in a bubble envelope but a flimsy cardboard mailer and was damaged, of course.

I think I'm just going to return it and wait to upgrade my streaming copy to 4K when it goes on sale for $5 on itunes. Getting so many damaged ones lately and the high cost overall has really diminished my interest in getting steelbooks through the mail from BB.

Got mine in the mail to. Arrived in tact no damage in a brown stiff cardboard mailer. 7 days journey from Kentucky to Los Angeles

Ordered 2 in case 1 was damaged. They came in the cardboard mailer. One of them had a noticeable spine slash. Sometimes they are hard to see (faint) through the plastic. This one showed up as bright as day though!

So I opened the other 1, and it had a couple of tiny dings that are pretty well-hidden unless you're really inspecting it. I'll keep it! This looks a lot better than the slip cover IMO!

Mine took 6-days from Kentucky to LA. Shipped in cardboard mailer and arrived in minty fresh condition. Pleasantly surprised since most my SBs that are shipped UPS Surepost arrive damaged.

I have no idea where my package is because it was sent from KY through UPS SurePost which means they handed it off to USPS.

Per BB site:

8:34 a.m. The post office was unable to deliver the UPS SurePost package and returned it to the sender.

It's now May 27th and there is no update. Now on the store website before, it was sold out but I guess they are getting more to ship out on June 2nd. So I may just order another one and if they both show up I can return one to the store that is only 10 minutes away from my house.

I just went to ebay on this one, no stores near me got any stock and I didn't want to risk it with the way they ship... I'd rather spend a couple extra bucks on one that is verified in good shape and shipped securely

I was selling a Sonic the Hedgehog steelbook for $45. I had 110 views and only 1 watcher. I wasn’t trying to make money. In fact when you factor in I bought new shopping boxes a few days ago I probably came up short by $1.

Taxes, shipping Priority in a box, eBay fees. I was trying to reach a buyer like you who might want it shipped the correct way from a seller (bubble wrap, air pillows, in a box).

My first copy from curbside pickup had a double spine slash. Held onto it unopened.

Ordered another copy via mail delivery from the store parking lot after getting first one.
2nd copy arrived today in crappy cardboard mailer that was looking poor. No apparent dents, but this copy has another DOUBLE spine slash. What the eff is going on here with Scanovo or the disk processing plant?? All the cuts are under the shrink wrap on both copies.

I will have to see if I can get a store appointment and see if there are any available on the racks. I am really pissed, but it's not Best Buys fault. They are the ones who have to handle the returns though, and this is the 4th or 5th slashed steelbook I've had this year in Best Buy.

Thinking mentioned 1 out of 2 for me did. Returned the 1 that did and sold the one that didn’t.

I ended up not enjoying the movie as much as I had hoped. It was a blind buy. I liked it but doubt I would rewatch it.

I got mine today, it really is a good looking steel but apparently the person that sold it to me doesn't know what a spine slash or paint chip is even though I asked... I'm a little annoyed by that but at least there are no dents, those are the worst offenders for me

Was it sealed?

I can't see spine slashes through the plastic most of the time.

Also, I sold an opened one to someone on ebay for cost + shipping. It had a chip on the front, which I put in the listing. I then noticed when I was packing it that the 4k disc was scratched also! I messaged the buyer, and we were both fine with canceling the transaction. I just returned it to Best Buy due to damage to the SB and the disc.

nope it was opened with no digital code which I don't care for anyway... I specifically asked if it had any flaws (scratches, dents, etc) and they said it was mint... I'll message them and see what they say, if they knock some off the price I'd be fine with that I suppose
