Do you mean new authors? I can suggest Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie. Sherlock Holmes & Hercule Poirot are pretty hard to beat.

In the new authors I only know of Kathy Reichs

Thanks! ill take a look.. funny you said you dont like the Bolitar novels... i was reading about each book... and it turns out... i wasnt interested in ANY of the Bolitar novels either
