A Monster Calls (2016) - Blu-ray Forum

I continue my 4k wish list with "A Monster Calls", dir. by Juan Antonio Bayona (Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, The Impossible, The Orphanage). Great movie, one of my favourites of all time. Looked very crisp and sharp on bluray (the cinematography is sweet!), 4K release would be great. If I can remember, it was shot on film.

Agreed, however I do believe this film was shot digitally with an Arri Alexa XT.

Very excited to see what Bayona does with LOTR for Amazon.

I remember the soundmix at the end credits being denoted Dolby Atmos, yet I don't think it went out theatrically as such, if a 4K UHD were ever to be released, that's an opportunity to hear that soundmix. The Universal US version is 5.1 on the bluray, the Fox UK release is 7.1
