The post refers to Streaming which is only Hd. The discs are 4K with HDR.

That and I don’t think HBO is inclined to offer a higher quality streaming than via it’s own service.

Rumors are HBO max will get 4K, though not sure which shows.

Hopefully that 4K set is some form of special edition like S2's slipbox but it doesn't look like it will be in that image. Even if it's not, I've been dying to watch S3 (since I don't have HBO) so I may have to pick it up at retail price instead of waiting for a sale.

Just open a new Amazon account and you will get a free trial of HBO. That's how I saw Season 3 for free.

I still need to watch season 3

Nice that WB's still supporting TV on 4K but I'll probably wait for a complete series if anything, because I don't want it to be like Game of Thrones or Lost Girl or other shows where I don't like how it ended so it makes me not care to watch it again. Plus, sometimes it was hard to follow trying to remember little pieces throughout the weeks, and years, so I feel like this is probably a show best watched in some sort of marathon over a few weeks when it's all finished.
