I didn't see this posted anywhere else. This really disappoints me! I feel like any studio being acquired by Facebook, Google, or Amazon is a waste of talent!

As a previous developer of PlayStation games, I think it is. And I agree that whatever they produce in the future is unlikely to make waves because of the limited player base.
Still, if it gives the studio some guarantee over their future then that's no bad thing given how many studios have closed over the last few years. |

Eh, they tried something different. To my knowledge no other game has attempted that before, at least not completely from start to finish. I give them credit for at least doing something new. Like you, I don't think it worked but hey, live an learn.
