Looks like the UK region-free import of the documentary CLEANIN' UP THE TOWN: REMEMBERING 'GHOSTBUSTERS' will be available in the U.S. as of this Friday from these retailers:

I backed this years ago lol so I’ll be getting it as a “reward” for that when they start shipping U.S. copies. I can’t wait to see it.

There are two kinds of Ghostbusters fans: the kind that sees Ghostbusters and wants to be as funny as the people who made Ghostbusters, and the kind that sees Ghostbusters and wants to dress up like a Ghostbuster.

Unfortunately most of these fan-made docs cater to the second type.

Same here. After both In The Soup and In Search of Darkness, though, I’m just hoping this is a pressed disc.

Mine just arrived from the UK and I can assure you, it IS a pressed disc. It comes with a nice booklet, too!

This is a solid documentary that was filmed awhile ago. Harold Ramis is interviewed in it along with basically everybody involved minus Murray and Moranis.

Frustrating that I backed the Kickstarter and the US Blu that is a part of my perk seems to not be on the horizon anytime soon. But I did get to watch a digital copy they provided. Still though... I recommend it.

Got my UK-BD last week and watched it today. Really, really well done documentary with great love for details and a quite unique visual style. This is way more of a definite look at his subject, as more prominently talked about documentaries like the two ´In Search Of´ installments ever were. Hope they are doing a follow up for Ghostbuster II soon!

Watching the Bonus Material right now, apparently they are working on Part II already right now, called: Too Hot To Handle...

Hope enough people are actually picking up the current BD release, so that we can get the second part down the road as well...

And that we don´t have to wait 12 more years for it...

Finally received my copy, and am also glad to confirm that it is a pressed disc, and region free for those whom wish to import it (despite the packaging saying Region B).

Just felt a little weird that my statements about the disc were perceived as specious enough to require validation. All that aside, I’m glad you’re as pleased with the disc as I am.
