They were never labeled for resale. They were only apart of the trilogy box set. To find them separately you'll have to check ebay or craigslist.

I've never seen them available outside of the trilogy, were there placeholders on Amazon for them before? Too bad too, because I've been stubbornly holding out for 1 & 2 single releases since I own #3.

Is $48 shipped really that bad for 3 blu-rays? Especially since those of you who own 3 could probably sell it for about $10-15 to someone else?

Not too bad but it has been on sale at $30-$35 every once in a while, so if you can hold out, it's recommended to.

It's possible maybe a third party merchant won there was selling their own trilogy individually. I didn't see it but it would show up on a search listing as seperate items if that was the case.

They'll probably release them as separate Special Editions when the 4th one comes out.

I'm not quite sure why it's a problem, just get the trilogy, cheaper than buying all 3 separately anyways. Hopefully 4 will be worth a slot in my collection as well.
