I think the same, that set it’s amazing. I ordered last week and can’t wait to get it. Maybe I’m going to buy the 4k set too later idk. Would like to have both. But want to see an unboxing first.

Having recently rewatched the series beginning to end, 1-7 on Blu-ray and then 8 in HDR, the difference was huge in my experience. The substantially higher bitrate on the 4K a big help. About 16-20Mbps on Blu-ray, 50-60Mbps on 4K, with peaks over 100.

Vashetti had posted this over in the main 4K thread to identify everything.
The one marked “Unclear” is a close up of dragon glass.

It’s the normal bluray one. Its only bluray but the set it’s amazing and looks a lot better than the 4k ones. I plan to buy the 4k later but yeah, the wooden one it’s beautiful.

The pictures don't do the wooden set justice. Really good quality, it's a big sturdy piece, and the artwork on each "slide" is spectacular.

I might go for the 4K later if /when price drops. But the packaging on The amazon box set is first class you’ll love it , a huge set and quite a show piece indeed , well done

I wouldn't say that it's a "crazy good deal" but it's certainly a fair price. You're not wrong.

I wonder...if I sell my standard blu-rays, all 8 seasons, via Facebook, I might be able to cover most of the cost for this thing. But then again...People on facebook tend to be cheap.
