Default Do you guys keep the slip covers on or take them off?

Out of the 9 blu-rays i now own, 4 of them came with slipcovers

with ratatouille, dr. no and POTC curse of the black pearl, i took the slipcovers off because the case artwork underneath is exactly the same, and i prefer all the movies look uniform on my shelf

however today i purchased transformers and found that the case actually looks kinda bland without the slipcover because its just the two heads of the transformers, the title logo and all the movie info is on the outer slipcover

so now i have to decide to just accept transformers without the cover or pull out the other 4 and put those back on the movies

what do you guys do?

thanks!

I throw most of my slipcovers away for the exact same reason you mentioned it's usually the exact same thing underneath. But I did however keep my Transformers slip cover for the same reason mentioned. I also kept it on Appaloosa, Chuck Season One and The Godfather. I don't know why cause it's pretty much the exact same thing, but for some reason I like the way those 3 look with them lol.I gave up on a uniform collection the day I bought NBK Digibook and Band of Brothers. I realized it's just movies who cares if it's uniform. I gotta bigger problems like where the hell to put all my damn movies, haha.

I keep them on. But I keep all of the movies with the slip covers together to keep the uniformity.

Resell value might be a little better if you keep the slipcovers. Collectors like getting them as usually they disappear after the first manufacturing run.

I keep them on, and all of my slipcover titles are on their own shelf for a uniform look.

Used to put them up in my closet but recently I got them back out and put them all on and I like it better. The only movie I own that used to come with a slip cover that I don't have the cover for is star wars: clone wars. Got if for christmas and for some reason and didn't come with it. If anyone had this slip cover I'd like to buy it.

i dont really want to separate movies with and without slipcovers though

this whole no slipcover thing was going perfect until now... DAMN YOU TRANSFORMERS!!!!

i mean at least the spine still has transformers written on it so i know what the movie is

has anyone here purchased transformers on blu-ray and thrown out/removed the slipcover regardless of how blank the case is without?

if you get rid of them, or have no use, you should list them in the trading forum, alot of people are searching for them, personally im very paticular with my movies, blu's now over 200 and i have to have the slip if there is one, JUST LETTING YOU KNOW< LATER
