Blockbuster Retail Blu's (April Sale)

okay so due to an overwhelming response to feedback from people wanting to know what blockbuster is going to do this month for blus promotion. i've done some investigating and here are the details. first; unfortunately this will be the third month since Hitman in January that there will be no $9.99 title on sale at blockbuster. Secondly; the 2 for 30 previously viewed bluray sale is now done. however, there are a few titles being reduced to a killer $9.99 price point in the previously viewed section. i've listed them below. Thirdly; all the alliance titles that were on sale for the month of march have now gone back up in price to 24.99 and above. In return there are about 10-20 other retail blu titles that have been reduced in price ranging from the 17.99 to 19.99. here is a list of some of the titles going on sale beginning April 6th that should be on sale for this month: (please keep in mind, there are all new (not used)

**keep in mind these are reg sales prices (not promo offers) so you can definitely combine any coupons you have on top of them to lower the price even further down from 17 n 19 which should make some of these titles good buys brand new. i will continue to monitor the prices for this month and edit this post by adding/ removing any titles that come on or go off sale, so check bk every Monday (weekly) thanks guys, and good hunting!!

went to another location and also picked up Australia and Role Models (2 Used for $30). The deal was over but they still had their little sign up so they had to give it to me haha. You should check and see if they still have their signs up to take advantage of some new used titles :]

I was in my local Blockbuster about 2 hours ago (Burlington) & after asking what BluRays were on sale I was shown the PV section & told, "this is it, no new discs on sale..".

Since the manager wasn't there I couldn't ask him & it probably is that the sales clerk I was talking to was behind the times & not aware of what was going on.

But it brings up a question, do the sales apply chain wide or can some stores opt out if they choose to?.

pretty sure cardman mentioned a book/information manual all stores have under their desk or in their drawer...contains all promos/sales, etc

Question: Where are you guys getting these $5 off coupons? We don't get those newspaper inserts around these parts and the gal at the counter said the only other way to get the coupon was via the BBV "purchase points" program (using your BBV member card).

For every 50 bucks you spend in a month get a 5 dollar off coupon. I usually get about 3 or 4 but never had used them

I was hoping one of the locations close to me would have gotten Role Models out before the 2 for $30 was over...Transporter 3 got out onto the shelves, but not Role Models unfortunately.
