Need Jazz And Classical Music Recommendations On BD - Blu-ray Forum

I was actually surprised to find lots of BDs that Barnes and Noble has for music on BD and it was all sorted as well. I thumbed through what they had and of course the price was high. I'm sure the selction was probably quite small to what actually may be available.

Please let me know what you have been enjoying in those two genres. Thanks!

I don't know of any audio only jazz titles on BD. The 2L recordings seem to be the pinnacle of these releases and I fully recommend the Divertimenti release.

I'll try to review more of these over the next couple weeks but I still have some catching up to do on Sony screeners.

I have two Chris Botti BDs. I don't know they could be categorized "jazz" per se as there is some crossover amongst tracks on those but I strongly feel most would like these efforts.

Never dreamed that Netflix would carry lots of music on BD. I assume this forum doesn't get looked at much cause I'm sure there is a decent amount of people listening to music on BD. I'll weed my way through utilizing Netflix and listen to what I'm interested in.

BTW, run don't walk and listen to Decca's Swan Lake! Outstanding.

Adding to what Gremal posted, I would recommend Surround records releases as well if you are in to classical music. The audio on these disc is stunning.
