Moderators are actually moderating today? Lol. The "4K is underwhelming" troll thread is vanished and the Disney thread is locked. I watch this one with interest.

For Question 1, I went with "From Here to Eternity".

For Question 2, I went with "A Matter of Life and Death", "On the Waterfront", and "Marie Antoinette".

There’s Marie Antoinette on the list ?! Well I sure am voting for this ! The current Blu-ray is barely adding anything compared to the DVD, I would love for this to get a proper release

I filled it out twice- once as me and once as my ex wife. I could have easily added 10 more of those titles to the list!

I'm kind of surprised they haven't picked the movies for volume 2 yet. I guess that means we won't see it until sometime next year.

On the waterfront is one my five favorite films of all time but we already have the spectacular criterion version of it out. So I voted for the caine mutiny on question 1. I feel like the choices overall for question 2 are a lot weaker than the volume 1 poll.

I don't expect to see any of mine, but I went for:

First Section:
Anatomy of a Murder

Second Section:
The Guns of Navarone
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
The People vs. Larry Flynt

I also really wanted The Caine Mutiny and Kramer vs. Kramer, but I suspect they have a better chance of being included than my choices.

I'm so pleased to see Guns of Navarone and Krull on the list, hopefully GoN will be included in a Vol 2, it seems like an obvious choice.

Kudos to Sony to listening and taking feedback from us enthusiasts.

I went with Punch Drunk Love, The Karate Kid Part II, and So I Married an Axe Murderer, which I was surprised ever received a Blu-Ray release, let alone the possibility of a 4K release.

For classic film, I went with A Matter of Life and Death, due to the enthusiasm in this thread (I've never seen it and really didn't know anything about any of those films).

Frickin' A it is, it's not even a matter of debate.

For the other three I chose From Here to Eternity, NOTLD '90 and Talladega Nights.

In the writing box, I strongly suggested that a lot of these titles be put out as standalone discs, also that "Lawrence" is hotly awaited as a separate disc.
I don't know who thought this "snack-pak variety box" approach was a good idea.

I know we'll probably never get Real Genius on 4K but I had to vote for it anyway.

Not "bad" so much as just getting pointless. All had been said and it wasn't an official announcement to begin with. Stuff was going in circles and devolving constantly into broader format bashing, pandemic musings and such.
