I'm a 3D fan, especially of shows with native 3D like the ones Stereotec produces. Just want to see this in 3D, which almost no one has been able to do, outside of Chinese and Russian theaters in 2019. The one good thing about this production is unavailable to the Western world.

The inevitable question; how much screentime does Arnold and also Chan have in the film? It's been suggested that Arnold's appearance is nothing more than an extended cameo appearance...

Their scenes are sprinkled throughout I would say close to 30 mins overall if I remember correctly. Its not enough if you are a fan.

I never saw the first one but this one is a mess. Tone shifts constantly and is very slow to go anywhere if it ever does. it seems to exist just to cheaply exploit the bigger names. The only decent scenes are with Chan and Arnold.

Thanks for that, i'll wait until it appears for free on Prime. Not going to drop even £2 if it's really that bad.

If this is released in 3D blu-ray, then it will be a purchase for me. If not, I will wait till it is free to watch.

Okay, not only is this film 1.5 Stars out of 5 on Amazon Prime, but they have dropped the rental cost of it down to 99p! Good god, how bad can it be, i mean, are we talking Hawk The Slayer or even Dungeons And Dragons (2000) levels of crappyness or what!

I don’t think the majority of regulars reading this care too much about reviews. I mean, we all bought A*P*E. It’s the 3-D presentation that appeals, and even at 1.5 stars it’s a definite purchase for me.

What territories have released the film on blu ray 3D? The fact that the film was shot natively in that format raises my interest by about 100%. Any thrice-damned 3D conversions in my collection exist because it cost me the same to buy the film as the 2D version.

So far, none. Sadly, it's not looking like this will get a 3D Blu-ray release anywhere.

That's a damn shame; i'm a huge fan of natively shot 3D films and documentaries.

Wow, I just finished this (in 2D), I though it was excellent and a ton of fun. Great pq, very colorful, amazing cgi. A lot different in tone from the first film though, this film being more of a light fantasy with ay comic and steampunk elements, while the first film was more of a serious dark Russian fantasy with horror elements. I must say I like both a lot but for much different reasons. The first film serious needs a blu release with Russian audio and English subs tho. Even though Jackie Chan is not a big part this film, Iron Mask was a much better film than Knight of Shadows which was just ‘cgi for the sake of cg’

I forgot about this one. Do hope we can find it somewhere down the road on 3D. And not bootlegged.

Yeah, what's the point of spending a lot of money for the 3D conversion, and not releasing it anywhere for people to watch?
