The listing at Mill Creek says it is 1 disc.

Diabolique (1996) is 107 minutes, Incognito (1997) is 108 minutes, and The In Crowd (2000) is 105 minutes. That's 320 minutes. Are Mill Creek really going to release a triple feature of 320 minutes on 1 disc?

Mill Creek posted a Pic on FB and it's 1 disc from the looks of it. I assume around 16GB per title no extras and static menu.

Disappointing. The In Crowd deserves much better.

ONE disc for three fairly long movies? Please,Mill Creek...CLOSE DOWN and let other decent company handle good titles.... ANY title. YOU SUCK!!!!! (Warners sucks too,for licensing this material to a crappy half-assed label. I'm cancelling my pre-order RIGHT NOW.

I don't know if Warners is to blame, since I think these fell to Sony because they are Morgan Creek. I just checked to see if DIABOLIQUE was available on VUDU and it is... and it says Sony. Same thing with BATTLEFIELD EARTH. All those Morgan Creek movies got outsourced... Just weird how a few like TRIAL BY JURY went to Sony MOD blu, but others went to Mill Creek.

It does say "+DIGITAL" on this and the IMAGINARY CRIMES / SILENT FALL release... Will they show up in VUDU, or does Mill Creek have their own proprietary streaming service?

The digital will be their own proprietary streaming service. Unfortunately I have never messed with it to date. I just barely started using Funimation's service, lol.

I will grab this three pack at some point since i am a fan of Diabolique. Hopefully it does sell well which will lead to individual releases.

Horrible PQ as expected for The In Crowd. Mill Creek should be ashamed for cramming all 3 movies onto a single disc.

Came back to chip in the disc stats. The total disc is about 42 GB and each film is 13.xx GB. They didn't even bother to flesh out the full disc with data.

I got this for Diabolique, which is pure camp pleasure imo. Just finished it and it is definitely a weak transfer BUT it is noticeably better than the old dvd. It is obvious from the opening credits (Warner logo intact) with the splashing water, more defined, and afterwards in Adjani’s room where you now can see some (some) actual texture on the woodwork. Hope Mill Creek does an individual edition at some point.

FYI: Disc plays fine on code "B" players (despite the code "A" logo on the cover), but I overall the picture quality is pretty weak.

Finally had time to check it out tonight, and agreed - the PQ/AQ is rather weak. But watchable.

I saw Diabolique in the theater, and then several times on VHS, but it has been at least 20 years. Yet, I could still remember some of the Stone dialogue. I mean, really classic Sharon Stone here. She is just absolutely gorgeous, the vintage clothes and hairstyles are stunning on her. This was a well-budgeted movie, and it shows - just a really beautifully shot film, with great use of color.

Watching the film now, there is just so many rich textures in every scene - again, on those amazing costumes, but even beyond that - the woodwork in the buildings, the wallpaper on the walls. Or the rain, mentioned above.

Unfortunately, as also stated above, the transfer doesn't do much service to the film. It looks like your average digital cable job for the most part. Strangely, it is decently filmic - down to the dirt and scratches. It also is properly 1.85, at least (and not 1.78).

On the one hand, they did nothing to it, but on the other hand...well, they did nothing to it - so while it is difficult to tell what is noise and what is actual grain at some points, at least they didn't throw some fake looking digital processing over it.

Of course, the anemic bit rate and the kind of muddy 2.0 DTS HD mix don't help. I had to adjust the volume multiple times from the whisper-quiet talking scenes and the louder music cues.

So, yes, I am glad to have revisited the movie - and for the price, this was okay and I'm grateful to have it at all. But I do agree, I would love for this film to get a real single release with a newly struck transfer. Or at least a better encode to show off what is here.
