City of Ember shipping today from Netflix - Blu-ray Forum

City of Ember blu-ray wasn't even showing up with a release date in my Netflix queue yesterday. This morning it is showing up as "Shipping Today". I didn't know it was being released.

It says blu-ray. The netflix screen for the movie shows it is available in both formats.

ALSO, why was this moved?

they said they were shipping me the Hellraiser BD yesterday as well even thought the release date is set for the 21st. I wish someone knew what's up

That's why I initially put this under blu-ray release dates so others on the main home page would see it but it got moved FAST.

I thought it was strange that yesterday there was nothing including a release date on Netflix and now it is in my shipping queue.

There wasn't too many people in the theater when I saw City of Ember, a movie underrated in my humble opinion.

hm... i've never even heard of this movie. maybe that's why the theater was empty lot's of people have never heard of it.

i read about the director...apparently he was showing his short film at USC (or maybe it was UCLA)...Robert Zemeckis happened to catch it and recommended him to Spielberg. the next thing the kid knew, he was being asked to direct movies for them...how awesome is that

It got a 61% on Rotten Tomatoes with this overview: Consensus: City of Ember is visually arresting, and boasts a superb cast, but is sadly lacking in both action and adventure.

It has Bill Murray and Tim Robbins so I thought I'd give it a shot.
