I've only seen one other show that had the actors wearing masks during the scenes and that was a show my wife used to watch, 'Bull' on CBS. I'm sure there's others, but those are the only 2 I saw. |

Grey's Anatomy and it's spinoff series Station 19 both heavily depicted the pandemic during the 2020-2021 TV season. Showing how the medical community and first responders dealt with it. This past season however they decided to move on from that. Both shows have a disclaimer at the end explaining their decision.

It also says Insecure briefly acknowledged the pandemic--I watched that show and don't remember that part at all. Back to P-Valley, the George Floyd protests in 2020 are also prominent this season and drastically affect one character in particular. On top of the pandemic, I almost forgot what a crazy time that was. |

Been watching this over the past month and I'm mad it took me this long to check it out. It's one of my favorite shows I've watched in a long, long time.
Great to have so many gorgeous women in the state that they are in for much of the show lol but the writing is also so compelling, so funny, so heartbreaking, and just so fun. The dialogue and the cinematography are electric, and there are multiple personality types and character dynamics that I feel like I've never really seen depicted before. And it's also fascinating--and very much appreciated--seeing a show genuinely depicting living in the times of covid and treating it with the seriousness it deserves (while still having some humor to it). Halfway through season 2 now (just watched the Keyshawn backstory ep last night) and very much looking forward to the rest + season 3 later this year |
