I personally would like to see a newer version of The Running Man made. I think with todays technology, the special effects and cgi could make this a bad ass movie. How about Vin Diesel playing Mad Dog Ben Richards, the Butcher of Bakersfield?

Would the Running Man really have anything to gain? I mean, wouldn't it end up playing as a Death Race "rip-off"? I don't think it would play all that well.
For my answer to the question, I'll say: every film ever made based on a Marvel Comics property other than Iron Man and Hulk and Punisher. And Marvel Studios should have absolute control and rights to it, as well as the characters themselves. And if they touch violent characters like Venom, they shouldn't be afraid of an R rating. Howard the Duck need not apply. |

As for a remake, with Marvel in the back of my mind, i'd have to say Fantastic Four. |

Personally, I don't think there would be much to gain from remaking The Running Man. On the other hand, maybe a remake of Total Recall. I always wondered what Cronenberg had in mind for the film.
I'd like to see Cronenberg return to the project (he dropped it and did The Fly instead) much the same way Tony Scott returned to Man on Fire to remake that two decades after the fact. |

Very true, after Watchman Warner has made it a rule that no superhero or summer "tent pole" movie be rated R. This will likely be evident when Terminator Salvation has a PG-13 rating, although I'm still hoping that by some miracle the producers win their battle with Warner and get an R rating.

Spider-man 3 that didn't rape venom, or as posted kind of earlier a Maximum Carnage series of spider-man that didn't rape Venom. Any movie with Venom in it where they don't rape him would be sweet. I mean we all think Indiana Jones got rapped but Venom got it with no lube. "They're RAPING HIM!"

I don't know why everyone needs an R rating. People forget you can make an awesome action movie at PG-13. An R rating usually has a lot of swearing and blood and gore. You can make a comic book movie that is dark enough to please the fans and the families can not worry too much in taking their younger kids too. The Fantastic Four does not need to be remade. They were always campy. The problem is people see a movie like The Dark Knight and expect every comic book movie to mimic that which is wrong. Not all comic book movies need to go that way.
To answer the original question I would like to see Babylon AD redone. I heard the director was none to pleased with what the studio did to his film and spoke out against the film. I saw the film and I agree it was a jumbled mess. |

Sadly, Watchmen's poor box office performance will prevent us from seeing anymore big-budget comic book movies getting made that are rated R. Knowing Warner's business practices, I am sure they are unhappy with the returns they got with the heavy advertising blitz they did on this movie.
