Amen to that.

I had been looking forward to this game since it was first announced this past spring. I like the Colts but I am a huge Giants fan. I thought for certain Eli & Co would pull the upset. Damn, maybe next time. I gotta give props to Plexico though - that man is a playmaker!

The offensive line wasn't in position when Eli snapped the ball. That's why they ran 10 seconds off the clock which really finished off their chances.

How's come Coach Coughlin didn't throw the red flag at least one time, either on the offensive pass interference call there at the end and/or whatever that BS call was at the end that brought the clock down to 7 seconds?

Inside the two minute warning you're just screwed or what?

You read my email about this game, but Cliff's Notes:

1.) Giants need to manage the clock a lot better than they did. This was not all on Eli, either.

2.) Going with number one; receivers like Shockey need to learn what it means to run out of bounds and stop the clock.

3.) The Colts can't run the ball for @#$%.

Peyton is in the same boat Marino was for years with the Dolphins: He's everything.

That's how you get a QB to lose years on his career after a while.

The Giants are a really good team, but there's also some other teams out there the Colts will face this year, like the Steelers at some point, who will have a field day on them if they know that it's nothing but passing the ball on every down.

Believe me: If I'm facing the Colts this year, I'm studying this game and what the Giants did on defense as my starting point for taking them down.

You simply cannot be one dimensional in today's game, college or pro.

The Colts should be looking around TODAY in Free Agency or in a trade to try and get some kind of RB in there to round things off, otherwise they look pretty solid.

4.) What kind of storybook ending to that game would it have been had Eli been able to make the 80 yards in 60 second and win that game? It was certainly possible, barring bad calls and bad clock management.

5.) Both Mannings are great QB's and assets to the NFL and pro football. It's hard no to root for both of them.

Awesome players. Good people. Good family. You name it.

The ending was terrible and unworthy for that game. If I'm Coughlin I'm making my rounds and making my offical complaints today, fines or not.

Overall, though:

Great game!

yeah was a very good game though as everyone said the ending was just lame. I don't really like the mannings though. They are great players but neither of them has proved to be a winner ie peyton choking in the playoffs every year and then blaming it on his teammates. The colts will sorely be in need of a running back if they have a hope of challenging the other AFC powers.
