Dollars to donuts this will use MGM's older HD master as all the other overseas Blus do (the current MGM owns international rights through distributor Cannon).

Crazy thing is though MGM distributed it theatrically in the US, Warner owns it through the Pre-1986 MGM catalog that Turner acquired. Ironically, Warner Archive also put out a Blu last year in the US and uses a new 2k transfer that is completely different from the one used for the DVD and beats out the overseas MGM HD master.
