I just ordered the Mexican BD of Get Back on eBay. I'm grateful we have all of Lester's films on disc and most on BD.

I would imagine Warner Archive will do Petulia at some point, it has a following and is visually stunning.

I'm surprised KL didn't do Mouse on the Moon when they were doing MGM titles. Be warned. You want the MOD DVD of Mouse on the Moon that I linked to above, it's a brand new (when it came out) anamorphic transfer. I've been told the old pressed DVD is inferior, I believe it's a 4:3 letterboxed laserdisc-era transfer.

I hope Help! gets revisited at some point, it's a dreadful transfer.

Yep, BFI also released How I Won the War. I made this a US-focused list for the North American board, but a number of his films also have overseas releases. I only included the two that have not been released in the US - Musketeers and Get Back.

How long is Criterion going to sit on those Musketeer films? I would love to get rid of my Dvd but I was not impressed with the PQ and lack of extras on the UK release...

Perhaps they have the rights but have been working to track down the original negatives. The Salkinds made those films through shell companies within shell companies within shell companies based in every tax haven country on earth. As he tells it, that's why Lester, when he sued them for his payment, ended up being unable to collect after he won the suit and having to accept their offer of a job as an uncredited producer on Superman to get the money they owed him.

I updated the OP.

Notes:

- the first pressing of the Criterion UHD for A Hard Day's Night had a technical error, a few seconds of footage were mistakenly looped. It was fixed on later pressings.

- all worldwide BDs and UHDs of The Three Musketeers and The Four Musketeers using both old and new StudioCanal masters (that's most everything on the market) seem to have incorrect audio pitch. Only the ancient Anchor Bay US DVDs seem to have correctly pitched audio, sadly.
