I haven't seen these movies since the 90s. I think I'll go with Down Under. Mainly because it had better animation, better action, better villain, and love the Australian setting.

I have a bit more love for The Rescuers, but Down Under is awesome.

I always found Down Under to be more enjoyable, the original was kind of a drag to watch as a kid. It never really held my attention.

Down Under has a faster pace and is less gloomy. That's perhaps why it held my attention as a child.

The sequel is better all round. The only Disney animated sequel worth a damn.
