Default Fire in the Sky (1993) - December 30, 2020 - Imprint Films

Quote:
A WORLDWIDE FIRST ON BLU-RAY!
Six men say it. One man became a prisoner inside it. But who would believe them.

In 1975, logger Travis Walton (D.B. Sweeney) and his co-workers discovered a hovering UFO. Walton’s pals fled, but Walton was not so fortunate. Whisked aboard the strange aircraft, he was subjected to a painful, unearthly medical study. Fire in the Sky is the amazing tale of that ordeal… and of the contempt and ridicule endured by the co-workers as they try to explain Walton’s mysterious disappearance.

Special Features and Technical Specs:

This is the only movie in my entire 35 years of life that scared me. It absolutely horrified me.

I ordered WOTW from them. It reached UK in about 5 weeks. The case was smashed unfortunately but the slipcover, disc and sleeve survived!

When I watched Independence Day, I felt that the Randy Quaid character was referring to this movie.

Now I’m not saying I single-handedly made this happen, but I did tweet this a mere 40 days ago: https://twitter.com/cansagleo/status...067421184?s=21

Their shipping is slow as molasses in February (we’re talking nearly a month to get to the U.S.), but their packaging is very protective. Both my THE WAR OF THE WORLDS and 12 MONKEYS: Ultimate Collector’s Edition arrived in meticulous condition after traveling the globe for weeks.

Same here, even to this day. There's something about the atmosphere in this movie, that fills me with dread. It makes my skin crawl, in how tangible and realistic everything is portrayed on-screen. I love it.

Great news! This one's way overdue, pretty high up on my sci-fi horror wants list. Day-1 add to my HD collection. My old dvd copy is pretty suck.

Reminds me that the other sci-fi alien horror I really want to see make its way onto blu ray is the somewhat unknown "Altered" from 2006. Fun little backwoods gorefest.

This title I may be tempted to get, depending on reviews (comments and observations about the transfer etc.), and if a UK label acquires it.
