Same as I can't watch any John Landis film because he got off scott free though he was directly responsible for the deaths of two children and Vic Morrow while making his portion of "Twilight Zone - the Movie". (There is also an very in-depth book about this: "Outrageous Conduct: Art, Ego, and the Twilight Zone Case.")
Book sounds interesting, but I've never let any backstory shenanigans ruin my enjoyment of a movie. I mean, there are a lot of movies you would never be able to watch again. You do you though

If Paramount should put out Top Gun, War of the Worlds and Days of Thunder on 4K in the UK, should they put out Coming to America on 4K in the UK along with Beverly Hills Cop?

Of course. It would also look pretty bad on the ethnic diversity front. I can't think of a single Paramount UHD out right now with a non white lead.

Not being "woke" . Just saying.

My brother really loves this film and made me sit through it for an entire evening. Too bad he doesn't buy physical media.

Not sure. But the only way it's oriented that way is when it's over a body / on a casket. The blue field is over the heart. Otherwise, it's flipped.

I was about to put in a preorder for this until I realized there is no blu-ray included. I already own the previous release, but since I am not 4K ready yet, I will either wait for a Paramount Presents blu-ray or just pick this one up on sale at some point.

Hadn't realized that. Though I've looked at the cover countless times. At least that means the special features are on the 4K disc.

It sucks that it's not a combo pack though.

Those looking forward to the much anticipated sequel this Christmas... you won’t even need to leave the couch.

Amazon with its biggest mic drop of Prime Day
https://variety.com/2020/film/news/e...os-1234799523/

Another major movie bites the theatrical dust. Such a shame.

Sad it’s going to Amazon. Physical media is dying fast.

Out of all the streaming services, Amazon Prime originals are the only productions that routinely get released on physical media. The Wall, The Boys, Jack Ryan, The Upside, My Spy, The Big Sick, Manchester by the Sea...

What are you worried about?

Yeah, I’m not worried about it coming to physical at all. Just sad it’s missed out on theatrical when that would have been their main reason for making it.
