And if Busey is too busy I think their backup choice should be Seth Rogen aka Man Bear!

I haven't heard about Madsen since he was taken away from his home by LA County Sheriffs around October. The article mentioned it was for the same situation as when they took britney, because a family member called them concerned over his safety. I kept checking for updates but couldn't find anything about him afterwards, if he was alright or not.

UPDATE: Seagal is not signed for this movie!

According to IGN, Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal are set to team up for “Weapon”, a new actioner from the newly-established production company Flagship Films. But seems the announcement was a little premature.

Moviehole checked in with Seagal’s production company who denounced Seagal’s involvement in the film. He won’t be doing it. They wouldn’t say why just that it won't be happening.

We can’t speak for Van Damme – he may. In fact, one of the producers on the thing, Moshe Diamant, is apparently owed a film or two by the muscles from Brussels, so this might be something he’s pushing him towards. And if that’s the case, they’ll just hunt for another action to join the kickboxer… or settle for, um, DMX.

In ''Weapon'', Seagal and Van Damme were said to be playing Jack and Derek, two of the best assassins in the world — but unknown to each other. While Conway is a master sharpshooter, Chase is equally skilled with a knife. These two rival assassins form an uneasy alliance to take down the head of a drug cartel, which is backed by the DEA.

JCVD and Segal should have been in The Expendables.

Seagal must've refused to cut his ponytail after-all.

Just because this movie will have a lot of good actors doesn't mean it's going to be good. Stallone needs to create something that the audience hasn't seen before or rarely see. A good impression will bring this movie to a higher respectable level and underrated rather than relying on the hype to make money and being overrated.

Your crazy ever since Rambo I have all faith in stallones script and movies now. This movie is going to be an over the top action flick starring some of the best past and present names in the industy, there is NO way this movie can be bad. They are just missing JCVD, Stegal, and Tony Ja, possibly a few others buy I mean come on Dulph Lungren was all they needed to make this movie awesome! HAHAHAHA I can't wait
