Default Region free player help please!

Region Free player help

Hello all!
So I recently bought the LG BP165 region free player from 220electronics and when I’ve gone to watch today I’ve been having issues with small audio drop outs. Sometimes it’s every couple minutes. But I booted it up at one point and it was around every 2-3 seconds until I reset the device.
Can’t find much online in the way of help. Saw something about changing audio output to PCM and it seemed to work but then no go. Is it a faulty player perhaps?

I appreciate any comments or help!

If it's happening on multiple discs then I'd guess bum player or some mismatch between the player and TV/Receiver.

Update the firmware, try a different audio track, clean the disc, possibly try a different HDMI cable (or make sure the current one is fully seated) -- usual suspects

If it's one disc, then maybe a bad disc if it's skipping in the same place every time.
