I'm crazy to have Dirty Harry series on 4K UHD Blu Ray.
Will we ever see this series in 4K UHD?

See, I notice this post on the front page and excitedly jump in, but I know in my heart it's in the wishlist section. I'd imagine it's only a matter of time.

I’m really hoping Warner will at least give us Dirty Harry on 4K UHD, maybe next year for the 50th anniversary. Not too confident that the rest of the series will get the upgrade, but I’d love to be proved wrong.

I wouldn't be amazed if we got some sort of box set, but the first is essential and I'd make do with just that.

I love the first four films, not a fan of the dead pool.
Would be amazing if we got the first one on 4K.

Magnum Force and Sudden Impact both received 4K restorations a long time ago, in the early days of HD-DVD/Blu-Ray/HDTV. I'm not aware that any of the others did or have received restorations.

Shocked that WB hasn't announced a 4K release for the 50th anniversary yet. I suppose there's still time as the film was originally a Christmas release in 1971.

Not the Dirty Hairy movies i want to see on 4K, but I'll take them. I seem to recall seeing The Dead Pool in theaters even though it is R. Or at least I think it is. While we're at it, give us The Rookie on 4K.

Was about to start this topic. My Sony UHD player for some reason likes to judder on panning scenes on VC1 encoded Blu-Rays for some reason so Dirty Harry and Clint's the Gauntlet is not as fun to watch given they contain many scenic panning shots. And Dirty Harry was one of the first ever releases onto Blu-Ray way back in 2008 when it was also released on HD-DVD too so it could easily be cleaned up for UHD in 2022.

I love to see Dirty Harry movie franchise on 4K UHD in the future. The first 2 is my favorite Dirty Harry franchise film. I know you can do it, Warner

No idea on the hold up. It was rumored in 2022 this was coming for 2023, but Feltenstein said in a podcast around that time it was not happening in 2023 and gave no timespan.
