I'm looking for something to replace my Asus bds-700 player since it keeps freezing around halfway through various region A discs. I found someone selling a modded Samsung BD-H5900 from 220 electronics, supposedly almost unused and still foiled, for about $100 including shipping.
Any opinions on this player? I watch my movies on a 42 inch Panasonic plasma TV (p42st60), so I only need 1080p output, and it's mostly so that I won't have to turn the player off and on and then skip to wherever it froze before like I have to do with the Asus. Alternatively, any other cheap solution for playing region A movies in continental Europe? Cya Raziel-chan |

Damn, someone nabbed it before I could, guess I'll keep looking... Thanks for the advice, though.
Is pioneer bdt 150 a good player? Someone's selling one for ~$125 used, though I think it's firmware modded, not hardware modded. Cya Raziel-chan |
