PS3 Help

I just brought Star Wars Battlefront2 for the PS2 and playing on my 80g PS3
and when playing for about 15 mins or so it would just freeze? I would have to quit the game and start over....dont have any idea why this is happening.
Would anyone have an answer for this or the game disc is defective?

Well, the Sony backwards compatibility site says that was a common problem, but they claimed they fixed it with firmware 2.10. So unless you're still on 2.0, Sony might have goofed up the backwards compatibility along the line somewhere. Or you have a bad game disc. You might try emailing Sony about it.

if it is the PS3 that was released in 07 then yes it can play ps2 games. everything after that, no.

just tested my copy of Battlefron 2, runs fine... i forgot how fun this game was.

oh yeah. it runs fine sorry lol i almost forgot why i even posted.

my PS3 is 80 GB, i can play PS2 games.
