Upscaling Blu-rays to 4K

Hello,
Can someone who owns a PS5 and a 4K TV confirm if the PS5 will upscale standard Blu-rays and/or DVDs to 4K, or will they display in standard 1080p or lower resolution even if the console is inputted to a 4K TV?

Maybe ask on the ps5 thread.

I'm interested in knowing too.i personally hope it has a source direct mode so I can let something else better (eg a Lumagen) upscale it...
