The above link mentions that between the two ps3's, there will be a higher demand for the 60GB then the 20GB version. The ratio is roughly 80% to 20%, if the ratio turns out to be true, then there will be a higher demand for the 60GB because you can do more with it. More people went for the higher cost xbox 360 so maybe the same thing will happen with Sony.

this is a dick thing to do but, if sony was smart, they would reverse those numbers and force people to buy the cheaper one and then bilk them for all the extras at a later date. kind of like MS is doing right now.

ill probably get the 60GB version for the extra HDD space. my current ps3 his hard wired, so Im not all that interested in the wifi connection.

my hdtv has a dvi and component connection. Im not exactly sure were that leaves me in purchasing compatable cables when i do get the ps3. will it come with component?

component will probably be an option and you could always go dvi to hdmi.
