Please rank these 4 games difficulty-wise

I'm trying to decide on which game to complete next so here are the 4 games I'm considering. If you've completed them, please rank them in terms of difficulty and if you don't mind, also mention if you think it's easier or harder than Killzone 2. That should give me a general idea of what to expect.

1. Dead Space
2. Resident Evil 5
3. Resistance 2
4. Metal Gear Solid 4

I've at least started all of those but haven't gotten far enough along yet to get a good feel for the game difficulty-wise.

from hardest to easiest

1.MGS4
2.Dead Space
3.Resident Evil 5
4.Resistance 2

really none of those games are TOO difficult. put mgs first because you have to be tactical (something some people find trouble doing) and deadspace second because well... it can possibly scare you off

the others are just time consuming, but not hard at all.

and IMO, all are easier than KZ2 (cept my mgs4, could be harder/on par depending on your skill in the saga)

All of those have difficulty settings... so I don't see any of them being hard

Well I only have Dead Space and Metal Gear Solid. Out of those 2, Dead Space is harder for me. Usually I beat games within 2 weeks, but I've been having it since Christmas and I haven't beatin it yet. Granted I don't play it much... when I do play it, it's for a few hours. Some of the "zero gravity" levels annoy me. Still a really cool game though. I'm on Chapter 9 now.

Metal Gear on the other hand was pretty easy for me to beat. The cut scenes are long, but the game is so good, it doesn't matter.

To me, Killzone was pretty easy, until you got into the palace at the end...... but IMO Dead Space is harder..... and scary as he11.

If you just want to play and enjoy them, put each one on the lowest setting.
If your looking for trophies (sans MGS4) then I would say Dead Space or RE5 are harder than R2 on the hardest setting.

Being that all of those have their own difficulty level I would say it depends on what game you are playing on what difficulty...Considering this from hardest to easiest on normal I'd say...

1. Dead Space
2. MGS4
3.Resident Evil 5
3. Resistence

Dead Space and Resident evil are tied in my book
3. Resistance 2 (way to easy)

I think it also depends on what difficulty setting you're playing, as well as whether you're trying to get all the trophies. I own all 4 games, and found Resistance 2 easiest/fastest to finish on normal difficulty, but among the harder ones to get a platinum trophy on. Here's how I'd rank them, just in terms of completing on normal difficulty:
Resistance 2 (easiest)
Killzone 2
Dead Space
MGS4
Resident Evil 5 (hardest in some places, still trying to finish)

I just recently completed Killzone 2 and for me it was pretty difficult at times so I was looking for something a little easier this time around. Looks like almost everyone thinks Resistance 2 is pretty easy so I'll go with that one.

Well it depends on difficulties and whatnot and if you're trying to get platinum trophy and how you play MGS4.

I haven't played RE5 so I can't rank that, but my list, from hardest to easiest, goes (on their highest difficulty):


MGS4
Dead Space
Resistance 2

As for Killzone 2, the Elite mode is definitely a pain at certain chapters. I have yet to beat the entire Elite campaign but it is difficult. I can't even begin to imagine the final boss fight on Elite. However, I'd probably rank it below MGS4. Dead Space isn't that hard, but Resistance is just really easy.

the only reason i put dead space above mgs4 is because im easily freaked out and the game scared me to death.

I was playing Dead Space at freaking noon with the windows open and it still would get me to jump.

That's a game I need to go back and finish.

Although, FWIW, Dead Space was the first game I got Platinum on. Although the game is challenging, the trophies are really straight forward.
