I was hoping for a dlc that would tie up the ending instead of leaving it so open for intrepretation.

Better, sharper, higher resolution textures is the only thing I can think of.
60fps ALONE would be huge and make the upgraded version well worth it.

A PS5 re-release with Haptic Feedback support and other graphics improvement is a given.

But don't expect it to be a free upgrade. The PS3 to PS4 version wasnt for the original game.

Indeed.

They could also bump up the Native res to 1800p just to give the game more pop on 4K displays.

If they don't offer this as a patch to the PS4 version, they may give it as a bonus for anyone who purchases the upcoming Factions release.

Exactly! It made such a huge difference with TLOU Remastered. I'm already enjoying Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and Days Gone way more at 60fps. The Last of Us Part 2 would be a welcome addition to the 60fps club.

For the Remaster of Last of Us 2 if it's not a listing error by Best Buy, allow the player after completing the game, to replay it in Game Plus mode with Joel for the entire game despite the story and how he's affected by it. So it'll be Joel walking through the forest with his twin brother Joel.

Hard to imagine wanting to play this game again, but the more PS5 games the better. What I really want to see is Bloodborne and the old PS3 Resistance trilogy remastered.

As I expected that was a mistake from Best Buy's part.

The little banner has been removed from the listing.

I'd rather have a true story remake.
All the pieces were there, but I absolutely hated the story.

No, I haven't finished it yet, haven't touched it in months.
It looks good, plays great, solid engine--that was never in question.

I will always look fondly back on The Last of Us Remastered. It's well-deserved of it's accolades. That world they created, the journey you take was truly an experience to behold. I always talk fondly of that game to my friends.

The second one, not so much.
I have been thinking time to time, of how I would re-do the story.
I guess that's what fanfiction is for.

There’s no way the story will ever be redone.... because it’s fine as it is and it would piss everyone who likes it.

I'm kind of itching to jump back into this one, but waiting for some sort of PS5 announcement. I'm a little surprised there hasn't been any word about upgrades to the most visually impressive thing to come out on last gen. First party studio (big one) who must have had the PS5 sdk a long while, probably longer than a lot of third party devs. And other third party studios seem to be doing alright pushing out their updates: Borderlands 3, DMC5, Destiny 2, etc.

I don't see why this game can't just get an uncapped framerate option that brute forces 60 fps on PS5 like so many other PS4 Pro era first party games do.

Then, if they really have some enhancements worth actually paying for that can stand on their own merits and try to sell that if they really need to. Of course, holding back 60 fps for that sweetens the pot.

"True story remake"? So A.K.A your own story?

Nah we're good. It's fine as it is.

I liked the story in 2 quite a bit as well. I like it when things go in unexpected directions and was glad it wasn’t just another Joel and Ellie adventure and then trying to latch things up after his lie at the end of the first game like I expected.

No interest in replaying it anytime soon and it already looks great so I wouldn’t buy a paid remaster. Would be down for a free upgrade if I ever got an itch to replay.

2. Finish it maybe?..if not see 2b.

2b. Okay.
