There's some really regressive attitudes on display towards tri-mammaried sex workers.

I'm struggling to think of anything in this, outside of the sheer excess, that's specifically outmoded. There's no racially or sexually charged language, other than generic "*****!" etc.

How weird. Maybe they've just disclaimered all of the 80s and 90s.

Is this new BD different from the Mind Bending edition version which I have, I thought that one was already a 4K remastered version.

It's probably easier that way, kinda like how amazon just put "this DVD is region 2" for like every disc sold on there so they don't have to bother actually checking the region coding.

Or perhaps the warning is there in case people think that divorcing someone with a sub machine gun is not the way to do it? "It was wrong then and it's wrong now" etc

The MB was indeed from a brand new transfer back then, but they've done another new transfer for this latest edition. Fine detail is pretty much a dead heat between the old and new Blus but the colour timing is drastically different.

I want a disclaimer on the UHD "This UHD has been prepared by a bunch of Frenchies who have no idea how to colour grade or encode UHD. Some viewers may find this distressing and offensive".

"Consider that a divorce!"

2020: Might cause offence, so we're warning you!
1990: Such an awesome scene, we're making it a selling point in the trailer!

Dude, I'm not usually the one who goes all PC on people (so the following is ironical, given what I've literally just complained about) but I'm amazed no-one's pulled you up on your persistent anti-French rhetoric thus far.

Unfortunately my French ex and her anti Frenchness rubbed off on me. I'll try and work on it

I just bought the Blu-ray from HMV, £12 with the 20% off offer (I bought it with something else, so free postage).

Definitely better than the UHD disc in my opinion.

Maybe because the deformed and Arnie's "Look who's talking"? , otherwise, I don't get any idea why.... actually, the "Gone With the Wind" is shite.. I don't see any message at the beginning of "white chicks" ! it's a film that's it!

I'm waiting for someone here do a review of the BD version, because I didn't see any difference with the image quality between BD 2012 and BD 2020 ... I 'm not an expert ,so maybe I'm wrong.

I've seen content warnings for that on TV (and Little Man). I think they come as standard on Keenan Ivory Wayans films to give people time to switch channels.

So I got a message from Amazon stating my Total Recall CE was unexpectedly delayed until Dec 20th, but I'm not seeing anyone else with this issue on here - I ordered it mid Sept, I think.

not sure, as the uk 2012 (studiocanal) release is not listed there just the uk 2008 (optimum). Taking stead the DE special edition look a little darker (the new release). For sure in my opinion the menu is horrible, displaying the same art than the one on the steelbook.

Are those warnings that if you watch those movies your IQ will decrease?
Just kidding, I actually enjoy White Chicks. But warnings in general come on.

Total Recall is quite a violent movie and all those mutants can be quite scary for young people if you ask me, and Arnie's face that is about to explode like a balloon, and what I remember made me uncomfortable was the baby within the body of the guy, that was proper disgusting. I think I won't look at it too much in 4K. I'd rather watch a facehugger autopsy.

When it first came out it was the bug up Arnie's nose that seriously freaked people out.
