I don't think so. There's no extras listed on the sell sheet. Other Mill Creek releases (like Accepted) list extras.

It is already on Blu-ray though. The Mill Creek version is the second release in less than a year. Very odd.

IS the Existing release good quality? Any issues with it requiring a second release so soon? If nothing is wrong with it, I will go pick up the already released copy.

It's from an older master, but fine and has quite a few extras. Expect MC to use the same master, in which case their release will be worse video quality wise.

I never ordered it, but I'll wait for the Mill Creek release to come out and let the folks here analyze both. Then I'll get whichever one ends up being the better of the two.

Once in a rare blue moon, believe it or not, Mill Creek actually comes through with the best version PQ-wise - such as The Lady from Shanghai, at least according to posters here.

Well... I was referring to at the time of the Mill Creek release. Every previous release was said to be inferior. The Indicator version came out years later and has to be imported (it appears to be region-free though, according to this site).

Does Indicator have a U.S. line? They put out some great releases that we never get (such as that film noir set) and they're not all region-free.

Will universal release still be available then or will it be third party with even more markup? Everyone sold out except a handful on amazon. I’m not sure what to do either. My dvd copy is pretty old. $22 is steep for me, but I don’t want lesser quality if I’m gonna get it.

Glad that I was able to find some info about these releases, ordered the Universal release on eBay and also preordered the Mill Creek release, will be curious to see if one is better over another.

Site review for both the new Mill Creek and earlier Universal release is up. Looks like the new Mill Creek has virtually identical video and audio, but drops all special features.

I assume the same features that are on the Uni release are also on the DVD?

I used to have the DVD, but I guess I lost it.

It's hard to justify 21 bucks for a 2.5 transfer.

Either I pick up the bonus free Mill Creek or wait and get the UV release in the next B2 and 1 free sale.

Yes, all features on the Universal blu-ray are ported from the DVD.

Came to this thread to see what the difference was in the two releases, was not disappointed.

Of course Mill Creek dropped the special features. That's what they do... release shoddy barebones Blu-rays for premium prices, and as a result other companies don't double-dip the same movies and give them better (proper) releases.

If Mill Creek and Echo Bridge were to drop off the face of the planet tomorrow, I would not be disappointed.

I honestly can't believe this movie wasn't on Blu-ray sooner! I am trying to (finally) get rid of my HD-DVDs and replace them with Blu-rays and both Accepted and Breach were holdouts for over 10 years... wow.

Now to hope True Lies ever gets a Blu-ray release... WTF is up with that movie, the best rip anyone has is from D-Theater VHS

Edit: According to this forum, Breach did have a Blu-ray release outside the US. Huh. Accepted is one of my favorite comedies and I know that one didn't have a Blu until early this year.
