HDD swapping question??????????

i wanna ask you all as most of you have upgraded your PS3 HDD
1. Does my user accounts get deleted
2. can i copy demos i've got already on the new HDD
3. if my user account does get deleted will i be able to log on my old PSN id or do i have to make a new one
i've only got around 5 gigs left with all the vids and trailers and demos i would have to get a new one within a month or so and which company do u guys prefer or is it just 2.5" HDD that one company makes

P.S. I know these questions sound noob but i don't wanna take ne chances with my PS3 and loose all data or ruin the whole thing

I have downloaded games from playstation store then needed to reformat my hdd you can redownload them for free if really want more hdd space read my post on the playtv news forum near the end of page 4 with an external hdd you can transfer all your trailers and game save information for the ps3 psp and ps1 and ps2 music and pictures

No. No matter how you do it your user account remains intact.

If you do a "backup" to an external drive first, then you can restore them back onto the new drive.

It won't get deleted.

which company do u guys prefer or is it just 2.5" HDD that one company makes.
Personally I have a Western Digital drive but it doesn't really matter as long as it's 2.5" 5400RPM and SATA interface. Western Digital, Seagate, and Fuji are my favorite brands.
