Default Blu-ray poll on Narniaweb.com

the home base on the internet for Disney's Chronic of Narnia fans has a blu-ray poll featured on their front page due to the announcement that LWW will be arriving on Blu-Ray in 2008. Here is the poll with its current results:

------------------------------------------------------

The NarniaWeb Opinion Poll

LWW is coming to Blu-Ray Disc next Spring, with all new extras and the movie in High Definition. Many fans don't have access to a Blu-Ray Disc Player. Are you going to watch it?

Yes! I have access to a Blu-Ray Player. - 4%
I wish! But I don't have access to a BRD Player - 55%
SOMEHOW, I will find a way to watch it! - 11%
I have access, but I won't be getting it. - 2%
I don't have access, but I don't want it anyway. - 28%

This is quite informative. 28% of a group of people who are major fans of a movie have no interest in seeing their beloved film in hi-def?

The good news is that 72% of Narnia fans do want to watch it in HD! Disney & Sony had better work damn hard between now & release day to make sure that the 66% in the 'I wish/somehow' groups get their hands on a BD player.

They aren't the 40% of the people who own PS3s but don't know they have a Blu-ray player, are they?

Maybe they haven't seen a good example of a high def movie. Have all of them watch a few minutes of Narnia on a large 1080p monitor and see how many of them still feel that way.
