Default Trilogy releases

Does anyone think they will ever separate the Fast & the Furious, Spiderman, Godfather trilogy sets... i mean all i want is the 1st fast & the furious, Spiderman 1,2 and Godfather 1,2.... I am really glad fox separated the Xmen movies, because i would never own the 3rd one.... has their been any word about this happening sooner then later? thanks

i saw on a site that they announced they want to separate the Godfathers but their is no date...

Nothing will happen right now about splitting them up.

to me it doesn't make sense that companies don't separate movies... i feel like they are cheating themselves out of money.... i will not buy these trilogies because of the other movies, and i feel a lot of other people think the same way... so why can't these companies act smarter on this topic... i don't remember this happening on DVD.. i remember having the option to buy box sets and individual movies..

i personally think the Fast and Furious movies will be released separately when Fast and Furious comes out
but that's just what I think
its also what i'm waiting for because i dont want Tokyo Drift

i wouldn't be surprised to see a re-release of Spiderman trilogy around the theatrical release of Spiderman 4 in 2011
with all the extras from the dvds on 1 and 2 (and maybe more)
probably as a trilogy release and also an individual release

FOX has been releasing sets as both a boxset and individual. I say this because Die Hard, Planet of the Apes, and X-Men were all released individually and in a boxset. The same should happen with the Alien Set.

FOX is smart i hope i don't have to wait until 2011 to get spiderman 1,2...spiderman 3 sucked who knows where 4 will go...and for the Godfather i mean come on these should be sold separate...

I figure they want to force you into paying at least something for the bad ones in order to get the good ones. Sometimes it works, I bought the Spiderman trilogy and then sold Spidey 3 (I later picked it back up but will probably trade it again). Sometimes it doesn't though, there's no way I'm paying for six Star Trek movies just to get The Undiscovered Country. Thanks to Trade forums here I've got a pretty good outlet for isolating trilogies I like to just the good stuff (for example I only ever wanted The Matrix).

I hope they do release the Fast and the Furious sets individually because I only want the first one.

It's lame Sony didn't release any of the dvd extras on Spider-man 1 or 2. I won't replace my dvds until they do. And I'm sure they will, it's just a matter of when...

Im glad 20th century Fox is smart at realesing their movies cuz they give you the option of buying them in a set or sold sepretley. I like the spider-man movies but i didn't buy it in the trilogy set cuz the first two movies dont come with special features, so im just waiting till sony release those two seperatley. i dont mind about universal's triology sets or warner bros. cuz they at least give me the bonus features and 20th century fox.

The Godfather films will most likely be eventually, remember the 2001 box set came out years before the were sold seperatly.
