Default Warner Bros. Invests In Game Development

I wonder if Warner can do a better job that EA? Probably doubtful. Games based on movies are usually subpar no matter who develops them. EA's games of late definitely haven't been stellar so I guess this won't hurt anyone but EA.

"One of the most interesting things about the move is that they are planning on taking back control of some of the licenses to be utilized to their game division. Specifically licenses like Superman, Batman, Harry Potter and The Sopranos. It’ll be interesting to see how EA reacts as Harry Potter in particular has generated a lot of revenue for the company. With only two movies left, will the public really be interested in future adventures in the Potter universe. And can there ever be a decent Superman game? That’s certainly a challenge that remains to be seen."

EA has no room for complaint. Warner wouldn't be taking matters into their own hands if EA was actually good at making franchise games.

I think the only EA game I'm actually looking forward to at the moment is Spore.

Maybe Warner will make us some THD combo game discs.

One side for 360, other side for BD PS3.

Or actually, you could put Wii and 360 on one side and PS3 BD all on the other.

Yeah, there ya go.

This is some VERY interesting news. This could have a significant impact on the WB/BD relationship. For the better
