United Kingdom x-men trilogy packaging is cool! in hand photos

The x-men trilogy packaging is alot better than i thought it would be.I was thinking it might just be 3 seperates in a box like spiderman but we have a special slip on cover and an all in 1 case holding 6 discs. Is this what youve got in the states? oh cool it includes a HD scene from the new wolverine movie

From the pics you posted, it looks pretty similar. The box looks different. I can't remember. LOL!

Uhhh...no. It's completely different, AFAIK. All separate cases. I'd prefer it to be like the UK one, unfortunately.

These look pretty cool. I notice that they are region A, B & C. Is this a first for Fox?

I personally prefer the US set because of it having the individual cases for each movie.

Plus, in general I'm just not a big fan of UK packaging art because they always put those big, stupid, obnoxious, colorful ratings symbols on the front of every friggin movie cover, which often detracts from the cover art.

Now, I wouldn't let that stop me from importing a movie that I want on Blu-Ray that either hasn't been released in the US (with no release date in sight), or that has a better transfer on the UK version than on the US version, or something like that.

But, from a strictly pakaging based standpoint, in general I tend to prefer US packaging.

I have to agree with those of you who prefer the US X-MEN packaging. I also prefer the individual cases. Unfortunately my Spider-Man trilogy is the newer version with all 4 discs in one big case but since I got it for $25 I won't complain.

That is ugly. One case with 6 discs. No thanks. I prefer the US boxset. Thank you so much Fox for the individual cases.

Fox in the US have released very few region free blu-ray movies.

Fox UK have released more region free blu-rays then Fox in the US and I wish that Fox in the US would do the same.

Some of Fox UK movies (e.g. I,ROBOT) which had region B listed on the back is region free.

Fox UK still do region code but not to the same extent that Fox in the US do.

Is it as wide as 3 normal UK Blu-ray boxes? I guess it wouldn't, so saves a bit of shelve space.

Add roughly half of one blu-ray case to normal UK case and that will be the size.

It's the same as the US Blade Runner set.
