I haven't watched the full stream yet, but if Robert could post all the relevant information concerning when he expects to have inventory, and product warranty. That would be appreciated.

Cheers.

We received our first allocation of Panasonic OLED displays last week and our next allocation is shipping tomorrow.

These are all brand new factory sealed and have Panasonic's full 1 year parts and labor warranty. We're also offering a 3 year extended warranty for $350.

Yeah, I’d have to say so. Any of us coming from plasma went right to OLED and are quite pleased. The only thing left for OLED to conquer is the extreme NITS performance you can get out of some top tier LCDs but that’s not a huge concern. Contrast and perfect blacks trump NITS every time.

With Panasonic entering the fray we’ll have more choices too which is great. I’m considering a 77” OLED a as an upgrade from my 65” which is still basically perfect. And it has 3D support too - the last of its kind. Just have to decide on a Sony or an LG. Or, see what Panasonic has to offer.

My advice to you would be to wait for Micro-LED. People are so impatient and not willing to wait for a great thing.

True videophiles or at least people with good vision progressed as such: CRT to Plasma to OLED.

Why? Is there some rule which says we can’t enjoy watching a beautiful TV right now?

That was my advice to him. Don't make a lateral move in technology just to keep up with the Joneses, wait until a real advancement in display tech occurs.

It's not the grand fix you think it is.

It's better than OLED, that's the point.

Show me the spectrum of those LEDs. If you can’t, then you probably should stop saying that microLED is better than OLED. It most likely is not.

Infinite contrast
higher peak brightness (sky's the limit)
Micro-LED's higher peak brightness capability means a wider color gamut.
No uneven wear
True RGB
greater contrast ratio

And the number one superiority of Micro-LED vs OLED, no burn-N.

You forgot:

Longer life span: 100K hours vs 45K
Less power usage - based on equal sized OLED vs MicroLED
Inorganic vs organic - aging is uniform
Color Space - 16bit
Size is based solely on money. You want a 110" - No problem. How about 180" or even a 246" - how big is your wallet?

I sure did. Mr. Noremac seems like he's against advancement in display tech. OLED is nice, I have two of them, however, I like to see real advancements in display tech,

Most of them? Maybe.
Let me know when they actually come out and have the processing of a Sony or a Panasonic

Surely none of you guys don't want anything from Samsung? (micro-led)

If you do my condolences.

OLED looks great, and no don't need to look at the Sun on a TV.
