I’m curious if Viz will release it similarly to how they put out The Final Act with two parts and a complete collection or if they’ll hold off for the latter (with a possible LE release.)

Definitely two parts first and then complete collection after. I'd prefer complete collection first but I'll buy whatever is put out.

It is on-going right now, October 2020 to March 2021. Sunrise is the animation studio.

Rumiko Takahashi illustration for Yashahime OST, releasing in March

Got my pre-order locked in for this due to the artwork alone. It matches the 2010 Best Song History soundtrack.

Next week will be the dub first appearance of Miroku since Kirby Morrow's passing. We'll have our new Miroku soon.

Looks like there's no new dub episode this week. No announcement but there's nothing on Crunchyroll or Hulu. Some communication wouldn't kill them.

If I had to guess I'd say something with episode 15 is holding it up. It's heavy on the original Ocean voice actors, could be to do with that.

The new episode (20) is the best episode of the series so far. I wish all of Yashahime were as good as this episode.

Yashahime will be featured in the May issue of Animage

From the sound of things, the plot won't be wrapped up within episode 23 and 24. A second season announcement seems possible.

I don't think he'll be doing anime roles outside of Miroku. He said this on Twitter:

"I'll be totally honest, recording #anime is not my fav. But I did it and will continue to do it for my longtime colleague Kirby."

Same could be said for David Kaye. I know this is a one-time thing for either Kaye or Corlett. This is a luxury, and I'm gonna savor it as such.

She was in Gintama a few years ago. The issue is that there are seldom opportunities for Vancouver (really, Canada in general at this point) based actors to show up in anime dubs anymore. Yashahime is a good example of that. Outside of Corlett (who bounces between LA and Vancouver), the only Canadian actors in it are doing cameos for characters they landed nearly 20 years ago. Every other part has gone to your typical LA anime dub actor.

Domestic animation has always been her main thing, but she's been in more than a few anime dubs over the years. In Gintama, she voiced a little boy.

I don't recommend watching Gintama dubbed. While the season Ocean did was solid, it's clear that they're not working on it anymore. The franchise as a whole is a complete mess with multiple casts that's unlikely to be finished.

I'll be darned: she WAS in InuYasha (the Final Act, to be precise). A bit role, and one I didn't even notice as I watching the whole series on Toonami, but I'm settled regardless.

Kappei Yamaguchi and Setsuki Yukino will be live streaming the "final" episode tomorrow, the official Twitter has teased an "important announcement after the last episode tomorrow! Don't miss it!" and then this leaked earlier:

I'd say to take it with a grain of salt but that's clearly what will become Towa's new sword. It seems legitimate. It was pretty obvious a second season was coming but we'll have confirmation tomorrow.
