According to one of the two german reviews, it is one big cardboard box with cheap plastic flip thingys.

Sorry I don't know about the audio and subtitles, nothing about that on amazon.de

The UK trilogy is codefree according to this site:

I'd also be interested to see if it has the bonus view and more HD extras like the UK version.

If it does, what are the chances those are available in English? I'm sure the movie includes the original audio, but I imagine that's less likely on special features. I have no real clue though as I've never seen a German Blu

Just be careful, the Dutch release doesn't have DTS-HD MA, but just DTS-HD HR

Doesn't necessarily mean that the German release will be the same, but it's worth confirming to make sure you don't end up with no lossless audio.

The UK release does have English DTS-HD MA.
