And yeah, heard a remake was in the works - at one time Bryan Singer (Superman Returns, X-Men 1 & 2) was attached to direct. Not sure what's going on w/ it now (I should check IMDB). I really, really hope they do a good remake.
You are right I thought it was rip off of Logans Run! I hope they do a good job on the remake as well. I loved that car or van from Logan's run. I think I had a playset when I was a kid. That dates me right there !

I am happy about the releases, but.....Warner has been saying for a long, long time that the HD-DVD releases would get a Blu-ray release that year, we are now over a year past that announcement and still no movement on titles like Excalibur, Forbidden Planet, and, one that would really look great on Blu-ray, Mutiny on the Bounty (the Marlon Brando version).

LOL! No worries, I know the feeling!

For some reason, I remember the computer voice to me still is like the best computer voice of all of time (better than the Star Trek computer voice, the recent movies, I, Robot (V.I.K.I) and Eagle Eye) - a woman's voice, but eerie sounding and the exchange between it and Logan was captivating for some reason to me. Maybe it sort of spooked me out as a kid, but it was cool!

Actually, I did forget it.

That goes on my list too. I wonder if they will sell it without the 4th? LOL

I'll be adding Braveheart, Gladiator, Forrest Gump, Heat, Magnolia, Boogie Nights, and The Green Mile to my Blu-ray library.

Anyone know is this will be the extended cut of Gladiator? It damn well better be!

I'm interested in several of those:

Braveheart
Gladiator
Forrest Gump
Star Trek: Next Generation Motion Picture Collection
Heat
Rush Hour 1 & 2
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season 2
Nightmare on Elm Street (although I'm happy with the Candian version)
Sphere
Logan's Run
Gone with the Wind
The Green Mile

I'm probably one of the few that liked Sphere so I figured it might be a while before it was released on blu-ray. So, good to see that it might make it this year.

damn, nobody wants Gremlins I see.

I'd love to have the sequel packaged with the original. That's probably asking too much, though.
