United Kingdom Blu-ray Titles £6.98 at Amazon

Amazon has a few titles including Spiderwick, The Departed, The Golden Compass, 10000 BC and The Sex and the City Movie for £6.98 as of this week (starting 27/04/09). Some other good titles for as little as £7.98 also!

See a list by price here. Not sure if this is automatically updated, or periodically updated.

Enjoy!

Alternatively - blu-ray.com's own auto generated list is much easier to read

Also... many of those cheaper titles are in the 3for2 offer... I bought Robocop, Predator, & Predator 2 (three movies i really wanted but wasn't prepared to pay a high price for after reading the lacklustre reviews)... for just £6.50 each, by using the 3for2 offer

Default Your recent purchase of 6.98 quid

Hey There,

I was wondering if you would tell me what the blu ray cost out the door in US dollars was? I assume that when you order from the US amazon to the UK amazon it does a conversion, but is it just the conversion from quid to dollars, or are there other charges?

KCcarl

I've only ever bought one US blu-ray (Blade Runner Briefcase Edition) - and i don't recall any kind of conversion in the order process. The whole transaction took place in Dollars and i only discovered the UK cost once my Credit Card bill came in.

The amazon currency conversion is a service they provide for non preorders recently. I like it. I don't know if stuff has to be instock or what though.

Shouldn't this be in the Hot Deals section?

I'd say the cost would be about 11 dollars rounded up?!! But then you would have charges on top of that for delivery and maybe some for importing but I'm not entirely sure...
