Default who here agrees with me....

Blades of Glory

1) is it a must own?
2) not worth your time.
3) I just hate paramount.
4) both choice 2 and 3.

Blades of Glory isn't that great of a movie. I enjoy will farrell's films but definitely Blades of Glory is not worth it, not a penny......

actually i am more upset because I won't be able to pick up Anchorman and Old School since they both are paramount's.

Never saw it. Will buy it on DVD in a few weeks. Not a big fan of comedies on HDM.

I'm buying it on Blu-ray just because it's Blu-ray.

I thought Blades of Glory was funny, but nowhere near as good as Talladega Nights which, itself, paled in comparison to Anchorman. Looks sort of like Will's flicks are getting worse as they go along.

Wasn't a big fan of this one, so I won't be picking it up.

No big deal, but you made the poll multiple choice, so option 4 is not really necessary.

enjoy

judging from the majority of votes right now most of us think Blades of glory isn't waste your time. just fed up of those who are really desperate to get it. now i know that some liked it. but quit the whinning. move on and also you have better selection of movies coming out soon.

also come to think about it, unfortunately HDDVD got Gladiator in the palm of its hand, being a universal/dreamworks picture. It is really saddning that we didn't get that movie earlier before paramount decided to side with MS and Toshiba.

Cool

I was looking forward to this title, and now to rub more salt in the wound Paramount announces Old School and Anchorman as well. Now I have to wait 18+ mths for all three of these

Most movies, including this one, don't really deserve the blu-ray treatment. It's not like there's a lot of special effects, action scenes, and great movie soundtrack here.

This should help you get my feelings of Will Ferrell's movies where he's the lead actor: http://www.collegehumor.com/willferrell

He's got another movie coming up where he's an ABA player in the 70's, what a stretch!

Other.

Already seen it (DVD), nothing about the movie justifies getting it on Blu-ray.

I don't see this as a major blow to Blu Ray. Hd Dvd can keep this piece of crap to themselves. I think most people are just upset that Paramount went Hd exclusive. Let the hd dud fanboys have their little moment. I mean look at all the great titles we have they will NEVER see. We get the great Fox, Disney/Buena Vista, Sony/Columbia, Lionsgate, Starz/Anchor Bay releases. I'm willing to bet they're pretty pissed that we get an exclusive Spielberg release with Close Enounters. Just thinking about having all three versions of the film on disc makes as giddy as a Japanese Schoolgirl.

I'm just waiting for him to make a movie in which he plays Cincinnati Reds slugger Adam Dunn.
